I don’t remember how it looked before, but I really like the homey colors. I also love the picture in your header.
I’m a bit of a font nut, so this could just be me, but I think if you used more of a script-y font for your title, it would look really nice. The description could stay the same, but playing around with some casual fonts for “Living Large In Our Little House” might be worth the time and effort. It’s not a big change, but it can make a huge difference in the overall look.
Some fonts you could try: Rage Italic, Jayne Print, Mariah, Juliet, Angelina, Cluff Hmk. I don’t know what your knowledge is in the area of design, but since I just designed my own blog, I’m sure I could whip something out for you quickly or give you some more font suggestions. Just let me know if you need anything.
